JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance to all Groupe SL customers experiencing difficulties with computer hardware, applications and communication software. They support users by phone or in person and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate by phone or electronically with computer users who have difficulty identifying, documenting and resolving problems;
  • Provide advice to users in response to difficulties encountered;
  • Ensure quality customer service at all times;
  • Collect data, organize and maintain written technical documentation of problems and solutions for use by other technical assistance agents;
  • Ensure the installation, configuration, updating and support of workstations and peripherals;
  • Record all actions related to incidents and ensure ongoing follow-up with users;
  • Travel to customers to implement solutions, updates or installations;
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to him/her

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR THE POSITION

Education and experience:

  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in a user support service;
  • DEP, AEC or DEC in computer science. (Asset)

Technical skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and 10 operating systems;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office 2016 and 365 suite;
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and 2016 operating systems;
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure (router, firewall, dhcp, dns, vpn);
  • Knowledge of backup strategies (Veeam);
  • Knowledge of GMail and Office 365;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 and 2016;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft RDS technology;
  • IT technical knowledge for second-level support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the networks of Groupe SL’s clients and the related software and computer equipment. They monitor and optimize network connectivity and performance. They provide technical support to customers while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, configure, update and support computer equipment (routers, switches, UPS, printers, servers, workstations and computer software);
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users;
  • Maintain the proper functioning and stability of the network among customers;
  • Ensure quality customer service at all times;
  • Design, implement and manage strategies and deployments of customers’ IT assets;
  • Perform data backup and recovery operations;
  • Perform routine start-ups and shutdowns and maintain control records;

  • Plan for customers’ future network needs;

  • Ability to manage a network alone;
  • Attestation of collegial studies in computer science or network administration;
  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or network administration. (Asset)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the sales team and reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Representative’s primary objective is to promote the company’s services to potential customers in the Greater Montreal area. Through prospecting activities (telephone calls, networking activities, customer presentations, etc.), they develop sales opportunities to establish relationships with new customers who meet qualification standards, mainly SMEs with 20 to 500 employees.
During the sales process, the Representative will work in collaboration with the technical team. They must be proactive, determined, autonomous and enterprising with potential customers. With a focus on achieving sales objectives, they represent the company and the services it offers. They must therefore be familiar with network environments and all aspects of computer equipment.
Finally, they must have a complete headhunter profile. It is therefore their responsibility to generate most of the opportunities that will lead them to create new customer relationships.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Approach and prospect new customer accounts and generate sales opportunities;
  • Participate in the company’s growth by developing sales opportunities through cold calls, customer visits, presentations, networking activities, etc;
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with potential customers;
  • Achieve established objectives related to the development of new accounts;
  • Manage sales activities and adopt professional sales techniques in order to target and deliver appropriate services;
